ZAUN LEE: UNDER CONSTRUCTION, soomdo gallery, seoul, KR, october 11-31, 2016

The site-specific installation UNDER CONSTRUCTION addresses the contemporary experience of living constantly within urban grids.  It is a decomposition of a cityscape, bringing the vulnerable skeleton of the city to the surface.  This installation is a geometric-abstract painting realized in a space and an installation with completed artworks as its parts. Within the installation, the  relationship between the segments and the wholeness is continuously under construction.
